Building Bridges - Ottawa Design Club Zine Launch
Join us for the Ottawa Design Club's latest event, celebrating the launch of ZINE 0007 with an immersive exhibition showcasing diverse and thought-provoking works from local artists. My contributions, Elseworld 1 and Elseworld 2, are part of my ongoing exploration of intergenerational trauma, depicted through suspended figures and inspired by Southeast Asian scroll paintings. These pieces reflect the complexities of dissociation and family dynamics, beautifully woven into vibrant, harmonious visuals that conceal deeper narratives.
Experience a night of creativity, community, and conversation, surrounded by art that challenges perceptions and invites reflection.

Material Futures

This event features the opening reception for "Material Futures" an exhibition curated by Katie Lydiatt. The exhibition showcases photo-based works by artists Tony Gebrehiwot, Aaron Jones, Linh VH Nguyen, and Sage Szkabarnicki Stuart.
