nơi ánh sáng lọt qua (where the light seeps in)

nơi ánh sáng lọt qua (where the light seeps in) is a body of work developed during a residency at A.FARM in Hồ Chí Minh City. The installation consists of large-scale cyanotypes printed on canvas using over one hundred family photographs, vintage curtains, and body-contact exposures. Sunlight, humidity, and the movement of air became active elements in the image-making process, allowing forms to emerge gradually and unpredictably.

The resulting works hold memory as something porous and atmospheric—neither fully visible nor fixed. Curtains, thresholds, and softened spatial edges evoke the home as both physical structure and interior landscape. Installed at human scale, the panels are meant to be moved among, inviting viewers to encounter memory as something lived, layered, and continually unfolding.

The installation consists of three works in total. Following the residency, two of these — nơi ánh sáng lọt qua (where the light seeps in) (150 × 200 cm, 2025) and bóng rèm (curtain shadow) (200 × 150 cm, 2025), both cyanotypes on canvas — are available through Mot++ (Hồ Chí Minh City).
